Edgbaston Town House
We took on this project to convert a large Edwardian house in Edgbaston from a Bed & Breakfast, back to a family home.
The job entailed removing partition walls that had divided up the beautifully proportioned original bedrooms, retaining and replacing what original features we could. Having not been correctly maintained for many years, we found copious amounts of dry rot that had spread from several slow leaks through the house.
Joists and floorboards had to be replaced in a few areas and large areas of plaster taken back to brickwork.
Kings Norton Renovation
This house was derelict when we took on the project. Neglected for years, the stairs had collapsed, ceiling joists had fallen into the kitchen and the garden was an impenetrable jungle.
We could see that it had been a grand house and wanted to bring it back to life rather than see it knocked down.
Bromsgrove Family Home
The brief here was to create the perfect ‘forever home’ for Sally & Derek, a couple who had bought their house a few years before but left it unchanged. The brief was to update the kitchen, three bathrooms and redecorate throughout with high quality fixtures and fittings.
We asked the couple to provide us with a wish list of everything they wanted from their home, with the aim to provide as much as possible within budget.
